Riday's Gate

Trail Notes 

The Riday's Gate trailhead leads to the original railroad crossings in Tannersville Pennsylvania and connects to Big Pocono State Park. With over 10 miles of trails to explore surrounded by 1,306 acres of natural wildlife, hiking the entire loop leads to the very top of Camelback Mountain. At an elevation of 2,175 ft, you'll be rewarded with 360-degree panoramic views of the entire Pocono Mountain region, the Appalachian Mountains, the Delaware Water Gap, Wind Gap, New Jersey, and New York.

Keep the Trail Clean

The trail is maintained by our local community and Hrysek Farms and we ask everyone visiting to be respectful of the land and to keep it clean. Many people and pets come to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the trail, along with a natural habitat we strive to keep undisturbed and balanced for all walks of life. 

Things to Know 

Hours: Dawn to Dusk

Leave it better than you found it - What enters the trail must leave the trail.

Recycling Permitted Only 

​

During hunting seasons every adult, child, and pet is required to wear orange for safety.

​

Parking is first come - Please do not block another vehicle, the adjacent driveway, or park in the road.

​

Bikes, Horses, Skis, Snowshoes are permitted - ATV's, Snowmobiles, and Motorized vehicles are not.

This is a natural habitat that is enjoyed at your own risk. Please know that animal encounters are possible and staying on the trail is the best way to be welcomed and stay safe. This portion of this trail is being monitored by Hrysek Farms.
